"When I look at the sky, sometimes I want to die of beauty." Linda comes from the Bohemian Central Highlands, which is an important theme in her work and one that she returns to time and time again. She studied graphic arts at SUPŠ and History of Art at Charles University CTF, she has been drawing since she was a child, but she has only become enthusiastic about painting in recent years. She is inspired by the desire to capture the variability of landscapes and the uniqueness of light and meteorological moments, where she is not afraid of colour expression, but also of darkness. She enjoys playing with absurd figurative insertions into the landscape, taking it to the edge of the surreal, where it teeters on the edge of kitsch and decadence. She currently lives and works in Prague, the Czech Central Highlands, or the Slavkov Forest.
